CHARACTER

Name: Aziraphale, or Mr. A.Z. Fell (generally to humans)
True Name: Aziraphale
Canon: Good Omens TV series (end of season one)
Age: over 6000 years old, appears about 50ish
History: Wiki

Powers/Abilities:

Angel - A being who is never-aging, sexless unless by choice, wings optional

Immortal - In canon, "death" in the human sense results in discorporation (or loss of bodily form), whereas a death by Hellfire would be a permanent end. In terms of the game mechanics, he would undoubtedly face more normal, human death mechanics. He is also immortal in the sense of never aging, so I assume he may see the passage of time in his features a bit as well, though at his given-age, that probably won't be anything very noticeable for quite some time.

Primarily his powers consist of Angelic Miracles, including but not limited to the following:

Healing - In canon he is shown to be capable of healing a broken bone and other injuries in a human. He also revives a dead dove (in the book, this is Crowley's miracle), so he can revive small things as well. Presumably he can heal any kind of scrapes and bruises in himself as well, though he cannot heal himself from a death. That would, as stated above, result in a discorporation and a need to be reissued a new body (in canon). This "healing" probably ties in with his ability to expel alcohol from his system and stop being drunk at will.

Light - In canon he is shown to manifest Light at night on a darkened country road where there are no light-posts to speak of. This is done as a convenience to survey a situation at the time, and we see (below) that he is able to make minor changes to the world around him to suit needs.

Manifest or repair object - For example: creating a bike-rack, fixing a bike and adhering bike-rack to Bentley; changing clothing for a crepe-date or spot-cleaning a jacket; preserving manuscripts and clothes for eons. As with creating Light, Aziraphale is able to bend the material world to his convenience in little ways. He can change clothes with a wave of his hand; he can add a bike-rack to the back of his friend's car because it would irritate said friend and help with transporting a young lady's bicycle, and then he can repair said bicycle (maybe over-repair it by adding gears that weren't there before...oops). As demonstrated by the gears on the bicycle, the power is a miracle: it's based more on Aziraphale wants it to do than on what reality actually was. He expected the bike to have gears, or "got carried away," so it did when he repaired it.

Teleportation - The other angels and Crowley are all shown to be able to pop in an out of places with a miracle as it suits their needs. This doesn't appear to be a power unique to them, so Aziraphale probably has it. He just doesn't use it because for the most part he rides in the Bentley or a taxi or walks.

Influence upon others - The bread and butter of Angels and Demons: tempting and blessing.
As Aziraphale explains to Alec in the linked TDM thread, the role of angels and demons is more about influencing others than being good or bad themselves. His job is basically to convince humans to give into their good side and make good choices. He can put someone in a trance to talk to them and then leave them with a very nice thought afterwards. Of course, he can also use this power for self-serving means and miraculously free up a table reservation at the restaurant of his choosing.

Magic Circles - He has a painted circle on the floor of his bookshop to make calls to Heaven.

Possessing a human body - "Only demons can do that" he is told, but the divide between a demon and an angel is not as great as Heaven and Hell would have them believe. Aziraphale, in a un-corporeal form, possesses a part-time medium and inhabits her body until he regains his own.

Swapping corporations - He and Crowley can swap bodies.

Convincing his bff Crowley to do miracles on his behalf by pouting and using puppy eyes - SUPER EFFECTIVE. Probably his greatest power.

Suppressions:
Aziraphale is supremely good at suppression. He knows what Heaven expects of him and that's often contrary to what he wants to do or thinks is the right thing to do (see: giving away the flaming sword). But, when his motivation and own desires will be best served by giving into what he "should not do" (according to Heaven's rules), he's also good at justifying the bending of rules (usually with Crowley helping). He is also good at the "oh no, I shouldn't" and, with a nudge from Crowley, does anyway.

- His feelings for his best friend. You're not supposed to like the company of the enemy, but he does. He also talks rather glowingly about Crowley even to his Angelic superiors. Aziraphale told Crowley he doesn't even like him, but it's obvious to literally everyone that he does. (Not particularly successful)
- His less good traits, including bitching about his missions and his superiors. (Not particularly successful, even as he tries to deny it)
- Doing what is Right. This is less applicable now at canon-point, but part of the driving conflict of Good Omens is that Aziraphale just won't get on board with Crowley's plan to defy the Great Plan, because he's trying to follow the party line. He feels he should to do what is expected by Heaven, but he wants to do what is right. It's obvious he identifies that Heaven is wrong, but suppresses that because he's trying to convince himself that they are the good side. Still, he subverts Heaven's plan in small ways, trying to avert the War without breaking from them. In the end, he realizes that he cannot do what is Right while serving Heaven because their agenda conflicts with his own. They want war. He does not. He loves Earth too much. So he breaks from Heaven and works with Crowley to save the world. (Suppressed until ultimately it's not)

Greatest Fear: For most of canon, it feels like his great fear is failing at being a good angel, but it's really that he fears losing the world he has come to love, including spending time with his best friend Crowley.

Greatest Desire: To enjoy a world independent of Heaven's rules, indulging in the things he wants to, doing good as he sees fit, and enjoying his time openly with his best friend.

Greatest Regret: Justifying for so long letting Heaven govern his behavior, justifying their bad policies and reinforcing the divide between him and his best friend.
